The SBMU Cardio-Vascular Research Center (CVRC) was found in 2003 following obtaining its fundamental approval by the Development Council of the Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education. The mission of this research center has been to respond to the increasing need of the society to individualized and community-based approach towards prevention of cardio-vascular diseases The center attempts for attracting the collaboration of various organizations to get to its aims. The constant training of the personnel at the SBMU Cardio-Vascular Research Center, the cooperation of the personnel in planning and initiating research projects are among the other basic goals of the center
